  • Mark Hiebert

    DVM

Dr. Hiebert's family had a menagerie of pets and farm animals in northern Canada. After the first time their veterinarian came to their farm to examine one of the cows, Dr. Hiebert decided that he wanted to become a veterinarian too. He studied veterinary medicine at Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, Canada and has been practicing since 1990. In 2001, Dr. Hiebert joined the medical team at our hospital and shortly afterward became a partner. VCA TLC Animal Hospital has since become his home away from home. Early in his career Dr. Hiebert started a branch of the SPCA in his hometown in northern Canada. He became involved in the BC Veterinary Association and eventually served as president for a term. He is currently licensed to practice in California. Dr. Hiebert is a member of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society and Southern California Veterinary Medical Associations. He also has a special interest in critical care medicine as well as surgery. As Co-Medical Director at VCA TLC, Dr. Hiebert strives to continue to improve on the services we provide. He believes that being a veterinarian is more like a way of life than a profession. Also, as time allows, he looks forward to taking some time to travel with his large family and share adventures.

  • Geoffrey Chapman

    DVM

Dr. Chapman graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999 before relocating to San Diego where he completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery. He has lived in Los Angeles since 2000, working primarily emergency duties, including a stint at TLC in 2004-2005. Dr. Chapman returned to TLC as a full time associate in 2012. A West Hollywood resident, he can be spotted regularly walking his dog, Six, to and from the hospital. While not caring for pets, Dr. Chapman enjoys playing guitar, snowboarding, and single malt scotches from the Hebrides. While not being pet, Six enjoys chasing squirrels, barking at suspicious sounds, and shamelessly hounding TLC techs for treats.

  • Connie Chang

    DVM

Dr. Chang is originally from Northern Virginia where she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia. She attended Veterinary School at Western University of Health Sciences right here in Los Angeles and graduated in 2012. After graduation Dr. Chang completed a rigorous multi-specialty internship at our flagship hospital VCA West Los Angeles. Dr. Chang has a particular interest in feline medicine, as well as dermatology and is a member of the AVMA, CVMA, and AAFP. When she's not hard at work at VCA TLC Dr. Chang can either be found traveling, or curled up with a good book and her cat Charlie.

  • Lindsay Wendt

    DVM

Dr. Lindsey Wendt, a native of Los Angeles, graduated from veterinary school at University of California, Davis and then completed an intensive small animal internship in emergency medicine, internal medicine, and surgery at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital. In the past, she worked extensively with zoo species and exotic animals that worked in the film and entertainment industry prior to choosing to practice small animal medicine. Her interests lie in internal medicine, dermatology and ophthalmology; however she particularly enjoys fostering the human-animal bond which is what drew her back to small animal general practice. Dr. Wendt lives with her husband and their tripod pitbull-whippet cross Nala who they rescued from the shelter. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, hiking and going to the beach.
