Becky is a professional dancer and experienced Pilates instructor. She is classically trained, but loves to incorporate contemporary exercises and practices into her classes to keep them interesting, fun and challenging. She has a BA in Journalism and Dance from Columbia College in Chicago and uses her working knowledge of functional movement in her classes to aid in adjusting her students to their proper alignment and full potential.
Chrissie is a BASI certified Pilates instructor and actress with many years teaching experience in New York and Los Angeles at studios including Konnect Pilates, Physiologic Pilates and Gramercy Pilates Fitness. A former elite springboard and platform diver with a championship under her belt from UCLA, she has also performed professionally as a dancer, working with such a notables as Meredith Monk, Cleo Parker Robinson, and Cirque du Soleil. In addition to her love of form and function, Chrissie brings incredible energy, dedication, and passion to her classes as well as her private sessions. Everybody deserves to be able to move throughout their entire lives and Chrissie believes that Pilates can make that happen. Chrissie holds additional teaching certifications from Bodhi, Triggerpoint, Barre Above and Energy Barre and is trained in Club Pilates TRX.
Erin started studying Pilates in high school after being diagnosed with scoliosis. She continued studying while attending Point Park University receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree. Inspired by the changes she saw in her body, she decided to become a teacher so she could share the benefits of Pilates with others. She received her certification in Pilates Mat, Reformer, Chair, Tower and Barrel through Balance Body at Pilates Unlimited in Dallas, TX. In her teaching, Erin prefers to focus on proper alignment and form, because of her own misalignment. Erin loves helping people of all fitness levels reach their fitness goals.
Ricardo was born and raised here in LA. He started as a spin instructor and then discovered reformer Pilates which he immediately fell in love with. Who knew how amazing your body would feel after 1 single class of reformer Pilates? He is certified through the Club Pilates program where he also became certified as a barre instructor. When he's not teaching Pilates, Ricardo enjoys spending time with his 2 lovely yorkies.
Originally from the East Coast, Shelby moved to LA in 2016 where she was introduced to Pilates. Being a retired competitive cheerleader, Shelby found love in all the benefits of Pilates and how it helped her live a healthier and happier life. As the General Manager at Club Pilates WeHo, Shelby realized that the ability to share her love for Pilates and being given the opportunity to celebrate with members as they achieve their fitness goals, are among the many reasons why she enjoys working at Club Pilates WeHo.
A devoted yogi for 15 years, Sherry fell in love with Pilates because of it's attention to the alignment of the body. She turned her love of Pilates into a career by completing the certification program at Club Pilates, which helped to expand her knowledge of the human body. She loves to share the benefits of an alignment-based, breath and movement-centered Pilates practice. She works to show people how strong they are and that their body is capable of doing so many things with a consistent practice. "I hope my students leave class feeling deeply connected to their bodies and most of all awakened. Find balance mentally, physically, and spiritually in their daily life."
Leah Ficarola is a professional dancer and certified pilates instructor through Club Pilates certification program. She began her dance career studying full time with the San Francisco Ballet School and the Pacific Northwest Ballet School in Seattle. After moving to Los Angeles she gained greater awareness of Pilates as a form of conditioning the body. The discipline and alignment based movement resonated with her and inspired her to become an instructor. Leah is excited to be teaching at Club Pilates WeHo and hopes all of her students can walk out of class feeling stronger, longer, and in full alignment to conquer there day!
